Hurt

Once you have really hurt someone

Once you have really hurt someone

We all have hurt people in our lives and we all need forgiveness at times, to be really free and happy you forgive, forget and move on and make better decisions for yourself.

We do change and grow as we age most do anyway and to say someone can never be trusted again is sealing yourself and them into a unhealthy situation, if you cannot forgive and move toward a better relationship with them than set them and yourself free and walk away. ~ Rose Raintree

You can forgive but you never forget.

Forgetting is impossible because we have a memory. It’s not like words a blackboard that can be rubbed out. What you can do is put it away, even then memories come back to haunt us when we least expect it. Down to us then how we deal with it. ~ Val Dorn

The good people in your future are worth a clean slate from those who wounded you in your past. Take each person as they come and work towards forgiveness. I want to give the people in my future the best of me, not the rest of me. Your past doesn’t have to dictate now or what’s to come. I think it’s hard to do the seeking but worth it in the end. Those who keep hurting haven’t done that work within and why pass that on? Why be the problem when you can be part of a solution? ~ Jennifer Lee

Time heals all wounds but there may be a scar there when it heals. Therefore it may never be completely gone but it will be better!

If you let it go it should be gone, free your heart and mind or else your only making yourself miserable holding onto the negativity of the hurt and disappointment. Grow from it!
