True love exists

“True” Love is hard work. Most of us give up soon after the “honeymoon” period during which we believe ourselves to be at one with the beloved. It is when we realise we are two separate individuals, that the hard work begins. Those who commit to do the work, are rewarded with the gift. ~ Regina Sebright

We don’t qualify as old because we are younger than we’ve ever been and married 40 years and we’d marry each other again tomorrow. ~ ThePam Keyser

True love is worked at over a lifetime of forgiving the faults in each other, it’s not there from the start. ~ Andrew Finley

My wife Paulette & I have been married 37 years, and in a relationship for the combined time of 39 years. This does not seem possible. I met her in college, I was a Senior & she was a Freshman. We met when she was 18, and when we got married on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 1976. She was 20 & I was 23. It seems like it was only yesterday when we got married. I guess time seems to fly by quickly when you are having fun. ~ John Leto
